Jacob Dickerson
Lead Pastor
Jacob became the Lead Pastor of Destination Community Church in July 2021.
Before joining DCC, Jacob served in student ministry at New Prospect Baptist Church in Hamilton, Mississippi, and later as Next Steps Pastor and Community Groups Pastor at Mosaic Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He has over fourteen years of ministry experience and is passionate about leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus.
Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Blue Mountain College and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Expository Preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is passionate about teaching God's Word in a way that is both biblically faithful and practical for everyday life.
When he's not at the church, you'll probably find Jacob on the golf course, smoking BBQ, cheering on his favorite college teams, or spending time with his wife, Molly, and their sons, Levi and Noah.
