What Child Is This? l Week 3: Everlasting Father l Lee Boyd

There’s a big difference between receiving a gift we want and a gift we need.

And in the middle of the Christmas noise—gifts, gatherings, busy schedules—it’s easy to miss what our souls are actually longing for.

Isaiah 9:6 reminds us that Jesus came to bring the gifts we need most:

• Wonderful Counselor — when we need wisdom and direction.

• Mighty God — when life feels too heavy to carry alone.

• Everlasting Father — when we crave security and belonging.

• Prince of Peace — when everything around us feels chaotic.

This Christmas, we’re not just celebrating a birth… we’re remembering a Savior who meets needs we can’t fix on our own.
